Terms of Service
Last updated on March 11th, 2026
The following document outlines our terms of service. MT5Run is committed to providing a reliable, high-performance infrastructure tailored for MetaTrader 5 (MT5aaS) and enforces these terms to ensure a fair and optimal environment for all clients.
By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy.
1. Performance & Purchases
MT5Run provides, and you agree to purchase, the highly optimized Linux-based virtual environments requested from our website. Our service is strictly tailored for trading, omitting generic desktop features to maximize resources for MetaTrader 5. You agree to pay in advance for services, whether one-time or recurring fees.
2. Payments & Billing
Invoices are generated depending on your chosen billing cycle (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, or Annually). Payment is due immediately upon the invoice date. Services with invoices unpaid two (2) days after the due date will be suspended. After five (5) days, the service will be terminated, and all data will be permanently expunged. Failure to include specific fees on an invoice does not relieve the customer's obligation to pay.
Chargebacks or payment disputes will result in immediate suspension. We use public fraud databases (Maxmind, FraudRecord) to maintain network integrity.
3. Refund Policy
- Our Cloud Trading VPS plans carry a 7-day money-back guarantee, provided a valid technical reason is supplied.
- Valid reasons strictly include issues caused directly by MT5Run infrastructure faults. Issues related to non-supported expert advisors, your local network, or general trading losses do not qualify.
- Upgrades, setup fees, external licensing fees, and bandwidth overages are strictly non-refundable.
- To request a refund, you must open a support ticket detailing the technical issue alongside applicable logs. Simply canceling a server via the dashboard does not warrant an automatic refund.
4. Prohibited Usage
Our architecture is explicitly designed for high-performance algorithmic trading. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- All cryptocurrency mining (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Chia plotting).
- Malware, virus distribution, or security exploit activities.
- Phishing or unauthorized email/spam operations.
- Port scanning, brute-forcing, or any other hacking attempts.
- Network attacks (DDoS/DoS, Booters, Network Floods).
- Running software that intentionally abuses CPU, disk, or network resources (e.g., card sharing, Traffic Exchange, high-intensity media streaming).
- High Yield Investment Programs (HYIP) are strictly forbidden.
Service Security Note Outbound TCP Port 25 (SMTP) is natively blocked across all environments to protect platform reputation and prevent unsolicited mailing.
5. Network Limits
The port speed indicates the network interface capabilities. Bandwidth refers to the total inward and outward data transferred. For metered plans, reaching the monthly limit will rate-limit your environment to 5 Mbps (sufficient for MT5 connectivity but restrictive for other uses). Limits reset on the 1st of every month automatically.
6. Warranties & Limitations of Liability
MT5Run warrants that services will be provided in a professional manner. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty shall be to require MT5Run to repair or replace the affected service. We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including, crucially, trading losses, lost profits, or data corruption) regardless of the cause.
We are not responsible for monitoring the data you store or transmit through our system besides maintaining infrastructure integrity. You are entirely responsible for the security and backup logic of your Expert Advisors (EAs).
7. Jurisdiction
This agreement and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction at MT5Run's sole discretion. You accept that no failure or delay in enforcing this policy shall constitute a waiver of our rights.
